Elm Brook HealthCare and Rehabilitation Centre excels in creating a warm and friendly family atmosphere.
If you are in need of short term rehabilitation following a surgery or injury, we offer around the clock nursing as well as individually tailored therapy to help you get back on your feet. If you are interested in longer term care for a loved one, we offer trusted care in a loving environment.
We are very proud of our C.H.O.I.C.E. program which encourages all residents to participate in daily decisions relating to their care and thereby maintain greater control over their lives. We encourage people to leave their rooms, make new friends, and enjoy our facility.
The Elm Brook HealthCare and Rehabilitation Centre has been part of our community for over 25 years. Our facility offers rehabilitation and long term care to people of all ages.
Long Term Care
At Elmbrook, we provide long term care for those in need of supervision, assistance, or even more daily stimulation. We have a caring staff, capable doctors, and a safe, secure, and welcoming facility. We also provide a menu of different kinds of therapy, up to seven days a week, to help maintain skills.
We offer a wide range of activities to help residents maintain active lives:
• Daily games and activities
• Exercise and mobility classes
• Cooking and craft classes
• Religious services
• Special cultural programming to meet the needs of our community
• Monthly outings to neighborhood and special events
In addition, our Active Rehabilitation Department is busy seven days a week creating activities that inspire mobility, independence, and self confidence. Our certified rehabilitation staff works with residents and families to encourage skill maintenance and rehabilitation.
