Garden Place is a group of Independent and Assisted Living communities for older adults who lead a full life of independence, freedom and privacy with the security of a helping hand close by. Individuals join Garden Place communities for senior-friendly apartments, caring employees and welcoming neighbors.

Residents who join Garden Place communities embark on the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. It is no longer necessary for seniors to compromise their independence in exchange for peace of mind. At Garden Place, they have the best of both worlds.

Residents are encouraged to continue hobbies and friendships held prior to joining the community, as well as create new relationships with those around. Together, residents of Garden Place enrich each otherï¿½s lives and make a difference within their own community.

Garden Place offers Assisted Living and Independent Living. All three Garden Place communities are Illinois-licensed Assisted Living facilities that allow residents to enjoy security and safety while maintaining independence and dignity. Garden Place offers an on-site, 24-hour attendant, who is available with the push of a button.

Assisted living vs. Independent living

Garden Place Assisted Living services provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities. All three Garden Place communities have an Assisted Living license issued by the State of Illinois. With Garden Place Independent Living services, residents receive reminders and assistance for tasks such as medications, ambulation, bathing and dressing. Garden Place staff also will provide oversight to ensure the correct completion of tasks.

The experienced staff of Garden Place will help evaluate which option is right for each resident.

Services

The experienced Garden Place staff will evaluate each residentï¿½s unique needs and match each resident with the best home fit. Garden Place aims to provide safety and convenience in a caring and secure environment. Garden Place realizes that not all residents require the same level of care. Please review the standard services offered at all three Assisted Living Garden Place Senior Living Communities:

* Personal care, such as bathing, dressing and skin care
* Three home cooked meals daily, plus snacks
* Medication assistance
* Certified attendant on duty 24 hours a day
* All utilities except phone, Internet and cable TV
* Two meals daily (noon and evening)
* Daily continental breakfast
* Light housekeeping services weekly
* Full maintenance services
* Scheduled transportation for shopping, appointments, etc.
* Laundry facilities
* Scheduled activities and social gatherings
* Emergency call system monitored on-site 24 hours per day
* Scheduled use of private kitchen/dining room for personal gatherings
* Personal mailbox
* Access to TV lounge, craft room, exercise room and common dining and sitting areas
* Assistance in setting and meeting personal goals to remain independent and active
* Medication reminders
