For nearly 45 years, Heartland Nursing Center has been a community-based living facility. While some nursing centers are owned by out-of-state corporations, you can feel good knowing that Heartland is part of the City of Casey. We care about what happens in town, we know the area doctors and hospitals and we likely know many of our families even before they walk through the door.

You will probably recognize many of the professionals on our staff, too, because our turnover is so low. In fact, our average employee has worked with our patients for 17Â½ years.

Full Range of Services Available

Housing 99 beds, Heartland Nursing Center is a skilled nursing care facility with intermediate care for Medicare Part A also available. Our patients may also receive physical, speech and occupational therapy.

Because we are a 501C3 facility, we have a higher staff-to-patient ratio, giving both families and patients more peace of mind.

Hospice Services
A place like home

Hospice Services at Heartland Nursing Center are designed to make patients and families as comfortable as possible. It begins with an environment that feels like home. the patient's room is spacious with a television, sitting area, refrigerator and private bathroom. This allows privacy for the patient while still permitting interaction with other people at the center if they want.

Coordination with other professionals

Heartland staff will offer counsel on the resources available for hospice patients and their families outside of our facility. We will then closely coordinate with hospice organizations, family physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the patients get all the resources that are available.

At Heartland Manor of Casey, we pride ourselves on our comprehensive team approach. Our focus is on you, the patient, to achieve your goals with services including physical, occupational and speech therapy, community re-entry programs and patient specific goals. For those in your constant care

Do you care for someone over 18 with Alzheimer's, development disabilities or another condition that requires constant supervision? If so, you know how important it is that they are enriched both emotionally and physically. But the other duties of your life take you away from time to time. That's why Heartland Nursing Center is proud to be the only facility within 30 miles offering adult day care to Casey and surrounding communities.
