Heritage Enterprises owns or manages 34 eldercare facilities throughout Illinois. We offer a wide array of services for seniors in our communities, so they can depend on us, regardless of the specific type of care needed.
Whether you are looking for an occasional extra hand or around-the-clock assistance, Heritage is ready to care for you or your loved one. We are a leader in providing Assisted Living Care, Skilled Nursing Care, Alzheimer's Care, Rehabilitative Therapy, Respite Care, and Hospice Care. We also operate our own Pharmacy Service.

Skilled Nursing
For more than 40 years, seniors and their families have counted on Heritage Enterprises, Inc. Our professional senior staff takes responsibility for 34 facilities throughout Illinois. Each nursing facility is devoted to offering superior long- and short-term care for seniors in need.
Our facilities and staff embrace the concept that each senior is unique. Individualized care is essential and our services are diverse. We are proud to offer a continuum of housing and care options ranging from independent living to highly skilled levels of care. While many seniors choose to make our facilities their permanent home, many others take advantage of Heritage Enterprises’ short-term care programs. Our compassionate team members consider themselves lucky to establish long-term relationships with permanent residents and are able to experience the excitement of seeing so many be able to return home following rehabilitation for an injury, serious illness, hospitalization, or surgery.
Therapy
When a senior suffers a trauma or illness, even the routine activities of life may become difficult or impossible.
Heritage Enterprises Inc. offers physician-approved therapy that enables seniors to return to the highest level of independence possible, often in the comfort of their own home. This complete physical, occupational, and speech therapy guides seniors down the path of progress, equipping them with the skills to live full, satisfying lives.
Physical Therapy
Due to a wide variety of diagnoses, seniors enrolled may need physical therapy to improve mobility, decrease pain, and/or improve their strength and endurance. Therapists are trained to help improve overall mobility, specific joint mobility, soft tissue mobilization, transfer skills, and range of motion.
Occupational Therapy
Trauma or illness can make every day activities such as answering the phone, dressing, and bathing difficult. The therapy team works with enrolled seniors to re-teach them the skills necessary for every day living. Therapists help redevelop skills that have been lost to achieve the highest level of independence possible.
Speech Therapy
Speech is a form of communication many of us take for granted until it is lost or negatively affected. Speech therapists improve communication abilities through a system of therapy and assessment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. They provide patients with the ability to clearly communicate in the world around them.
