LaSalle County Nursing Home is a safe and comfortable environment, where you can bring your loved one, when care is needed in time when a person can no longer care for themselves, and/or families can no longer assist with their care. Our Nursing Home staff all work together as a team to ensure the physical, emotional and social needs of a resident are met.

LaSalle County Nursing Home is fully staffed with caring and dedicated professionals to provide quality long term care and services to people who may need additional assistance with every day living.

Our goal here at LaSalle County Nursing Home is to make a resident feel this is a home away from home, whether this would be a short term need or a long term stay.

Nursing Care

Licensed Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide nursing care. Nursing care consists of giving prescribed medications and treatments, recognizing symptoms and reporting to physician, and meeting all physical needs.

Our Director of Nurses oversees the nursing department from RN’s to C.N.A.’s, as well as full involvement with residents and families. Our nurses interact closely with our physicians to insure that all medical needs of our residents are met.

Infection Control

The infection control nurse monitors infections present and infection control practices that help control the incidence of infections in the nursing home. These measures include monitoring administration of immunizations to residents and staff, education of infection control and blood born pathogens to staff, and follow up on blood exposures. It is the responsibility of this nurse to keep up on the latest OSHA, CDC guidelines that effect the infection control policies of the nursing home and update policies as necessary.
