Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, part of the Loyola University Health System, a not-for-profit, comprehensive, community hospital founded in 1961, has grown from one small building to a sprawling, 36-acre medical center campus. Gottlieb is best known for:

* Emergency care as a Level II Trauma Center.
* Heart care, including open-heart surgery with outcomes among the best in the nation.
* Enhanced Birth Center.
* Orthopaedic surgery for hips, shoulders and knees.
* Neurosurgery using the latest minimally invasive techniques.
* A comprehensive oncology program, which includes radiation and chemotherapy provided by our affiliate, the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Care Center, located next to the hospital.
