with the services and programs Meadows has to offer residents
and family members.

Meadows Home residents live in the unit that most closely fits their
personal needs for care. It is most beneficial to be able to talk with
you in person about the care needs of the loved one you are
inquiring about, so that you have a clear picture of the services,
as well as the costs to provide the care needed.

Activities

Programs are planned with the belief the elderly can continue
meaningful lives. The programs are provided by activity assistants
and/or certified nursing assistants who have had special training in
activities.

Programs are planned to meet the needs according to the physical
and cognitive functioning level of the residents.

Programs include such elements as:

music
reminiscing
exercise
life skills
luncheon outings
normalization activities
passive and active games
sensory stimulation activities
gardening
cooking
art
crafts

Therapy

Restorative therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy,
and Speech Therapy is coordinated with qualified therapists and
physicians. Our therapy department's goals are to improve our
resident's mobility, balance, muscle strength, and range of motion.

Everybody needs a little help sometime. Our sheltered care rooms
are staffed to provide just the right amount of help to seniors who
are relatively independent, but require assistance with certain
activities of daily living. These activities may include: bathing,
dressing, and medication management.

Our comfortable rooms are complemented by services and amenities that support
seniorsâ€™ independence and preferred lifestyles: dining, housekeeping, maintenance,
social and recreational programs, 24-hour staffing, and security.
