The British Home has provided not-for-profit services to seniors since we opened in 1924. But we're definitely not set in our ways. In fact, we believe that in order to meet the changing needs of all seniors, we have to be flexible.
Our flexibility is what allows us to continue to grow, and to reach out to seniors in ways that encourage well-being and independence. That's because we know that personal wellness it's not about where you live, but how you live. The British Home is well known in the community for its intensive skilled nursing and rehabilitation services under Medicare, designed for short-term inpatient stays and continued outpatient therapies. Our on-site therapy staff is made up of licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists and a fitness trainer. Our services also include extended stay licensed intermediate and skilled nursing care. The excellence of these services is due in part to the array of resources available in our Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, but just as important are the qualifications and experience of our staff.
