Welcome to Arcola Health Care Center,
On behalf of the residents and staff of Arcola Health Care Center, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your loved one. The staff of Arcola Health Care Center strives for excellence in obtaining each resident’s individual needs and goals to attain their highest level of independence.
Our main objective is to provide excellent nursing care. We have a very dedicated and caring nursing staff to meet your needs. We also offer an exciting activity and social service department to provide for your social needs. We strongly encourage family involvement with our residents at any time.

PROGRAMS
Arcola Health Care Center offers a variety of individualized care programs and medical services to help residents regain function and get the most out of life.
Nursing
Our team features compassionate, well trained registered nurses and licensed professionals whose knowledge, skills and experience are focused on meeting the total care of our residents. On duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Therapies
Members of our therapy team consist of a licensed occupational therapist, physical therapist and speech/language pathologist. Residents are assessed and a program designed to improve mobility, performance of activities of daily living (ADLs), communication and swallowing functions. Billable under part A and B Medicare
Dietary
Our dietary team knows the value of a well prepared meal. They are trained and educated to meet the needs of specific diets and personal preferences. Friends and family members are welcome to join us for meals anytime. Our full-time registered dietician closely monitors the diets/meals, weight gain/loss of residents to assure all needs and preferences are met.
Medical
Our Medical Director, Dr. Ramon Climaco, is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and on-site medical visitations are made at least monthly. We transport residents to all other medical appointments as necessary.
Psychiatric Services
We have a contracted psychiatrist available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone and conducts on site consultations twice a month to meet the special needs of our residents.
Social Services
We specialize in meeting the needs of our residents and family members by providing professionals who will assist with financial and admission papers, living wills and any other financial or service requirements. Our Social Services department is also available to discuss any concerns, adjustment situations or care plans. In addition, Social Services educates residents and family members about illnesses and available treatments.
Special Activities
Whether we’re planning in-house religious services (for all denominations), luncheon outings or special trips, holiday parties or bake sales, you can count on our team for a variety of life enrichment activities. We offer music, concerts, special entertainment and more. Check out our calendar to see what’s going on this month!
