Avonlea Dixon is a unique residence where people in the early to middle stages of Alzheimer's Disease and related memory-impairing diseases can enjoy a renewed sense of normalcy. By focusing on each resident as an individual, we customize a plan of care to balance and promote choices, dignity, assistance and involvement with activities, family and friends.
Our program has been designed to ensure the highest quality of life for the dementia resident through our approach of providing assistance and support in a structured environment. Our residents and their families realize that life after diagnosis is still rich and rewarding.

In addition, basic plans include:
Studio suite with spacious private bath and low-curb shower
Three nutritious and appetizing meals carefully planned by a registered dietitian (Servings for special diets)
Personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADL's), as indicated on the residents wellness care plan, including dressing, bathing, evening care, and escorts to meals and social activities.
Personalized wellness care plan and monthly wellness visits by licensed nurse
Weekly housekeeping and linen laundry service.
Weekly personal laundry (except dry cleaning)
Individual climate controls (Heating/AC)
