MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of The Bethany Terrace to provide holistic heath care for people of all faiths in a safe, friendly and compassionate environment where the individual's dignity is respected; their medical needs are met; and their spiritual beliefs are nurtured.

The Bethany Terrace, a division of Bethany Methodist Communities, is a non-profit, skilled and intermediate long term care facility licensed by the State of Illinois . Our “Called to Care” philosophy brings together all members of The Bethany Methodist Family — residents, their families, staff and friends — to share a variety of God-given gifts in service to others of all faiths


Our nursing and allied services compromise nothing in our care and treatment during end of life. We work with all area hospice organizations to provide the support and compassion that maximize quality of life for both our resident and their families. A list of hospice organizations may be obtained from our Social Services representatives.

We approach residents’ diverse needs with a variety of therapies and activities in our single-level floor plan that offer intimate, accessible and sunny spaces. Our services and amenities include:

-3 daily meals served restaurant style (special diets available) in addition to nutritious snacks
-Housekeeping, including laundry service
-24-hour licensed nursing care
-Life Enrichment that listens to every resident’s story so that they can live their story
-Shuttle service for outings to special events, dining and shopping
-Emergency call system
-Worship services for all denominations in our chapel and an in-house chaplain
-Social services, including individual counseling, support and discharge planning for short-term stays
-Beauty salon/barber shop/spa
-Arts and crafts studio/game rooms/library
-Beautifully landscaped botanical gardens with benches, walking trails & gazebos
