As America's aging population increases each day, Kindred Healthcare provides specialized long-term and rehabilitative healthcare in nursing and rehabilitation centers. Our nursing centers provide care to approximately 25,000 medically complex residents daily. Because experts estimate that as many as two-thirds of nursing home residents have some sort of dementia, many of our nursing centers have separate Reflectionsâ„¢ units run by teams of professionals who specialize in the unique problems experienced by residents suffering from Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
As a resident of a Kindred nursing center, you receive a full range of nursing and medical care to meet your individual needs, including rehabilitative services, long-term skilled care or treatment for Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Working with your physician, our staff – including medical specialists, nurses, nutritionists, dietitians and social workers – establishes a comprehensive treatment plan intended to restore you to your fullest practicable potential.
We strive to make our residents’ stay as pleasant as possible with a wide range of amenities and activities. This requires a true team effort, from the caregivers and clinical specialists in the nursing centers to staff in our support center.
