Pinecrest Manor provides intermediate and skilled care for those with short or long term needs. Pinecrest provides daily physical therapy as well as the services of speech and occupational therapists. Physicians from the University of Illinois Primary Care Clinic provide expert medical care to Manor residents, and our own staff offers care and assistance 24 hours a day.

Most of the Manor's rooms are private (some double rooms are available) and have private baths. The Manor's activity coordinators plan a wide range of activities and programs, including dining out, discussion groups, and Bible studies. Chapel services are offered every weekday and pastors from various churches in the area provide Sunday worship services.

Skilled/Advanced Intermediate and Alzheimer Care: Wings 1, 2, and 3

For the Manor and the Terrace, charges cover the day of admission through the day of discharge. Rooms held during hospital stays will be billed at the prevailing rate. Per Diem fees are billed monthly in advance, and payment is due upon receipt of the monthly statement. A monthly service charge of 2% will be made on all amounts over 60 days old.

The following services are not covered in daily fees for Manor and Terrace residents:

* Medications
* Oxygen
* Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy
* Physical/Occupational Rehabilitation Programs
* Personal and Medical Care Supplies
* Laboratory work
* Wanderguard
* Bed and Wheelchair sensors
* Out-of-town trips
* Additional hair care

*Personal care items such as mouthwash, body powder, toothpaste and denture cream will be provided by Pinecrest Manor and charged or they maybe be brought in by the family. Medical care items such as sterile dressings, medications, ace wraps, catheters, etc., must be provided by Pinecrest Manor and will be charged.
