Activities: Daily activities and community outings are varied to meet the needs and interests of the Residents. Church services are led by area pastors each Sunday evening. Activity calendars are posted on bulletin boards and a monthly calendar/newsletter, available at the front desk, is also given to every resident and is available for anyone interested in receiving one.

Beauty Shop and Barber: A barber and beautician are available on site. Manicures are also available through the activities department.

Care Plans: Resident Care Plans are developed upon admission for the Nursing Residents. The interdisciplinary team, the nursing resident and the family meet quarterly to address needs, concerns and strengths. These are formulated into resident centered goals to assist each resident in reaching or maintaining their highest potential.

Dietary: Well balanced, nutritious meals are served by our dietary staff as ordered by the physician. A registered dietitian reviews doctor's orders and menus to ensure that the State and Federal guidelines are followed.

Hospice Care: Hospice care is available to our residents with life- limited illnesses. Hospice brings comfort and support to our residents as well as our families.

Housekeeping / Laundry Services: Our housekeeping and laundry service is outstanding as you will recognize upon a visit to Resthave. After permanently marking clothes upon admittance, laundry is done on a daily basis.

Mail & Newspapers: Mail is delivered to the resident's room on normal delivery days. The Activities Department assists residents as needed to read or send mail. Stamps may be purchased in the office. Newspapers are available on a subscription basis.

Maintenance: Our maintenance team keeps both the inside and outside of our home in safe working condition. They quickly solve any issues with room furnishings and are available to hang pictures.

Nursing: Our nurses and nursing assistants provide 24 hours a day 7 days a week intermediate care. Our nursing staff assists residents with daily living activities as well as all aspects of their medical needs.

Pharmacy Services / Medications: All medication is packaged in a unit dose system and is billed directly from the pharmacy. All medication including "over the counter" drugs, ointments, etc., must be ordered by the physician and is administered by a licensed nurse.
Physical Therapy: Physical therapy is available to nursing residents with a physician's order, under the direction of a registered physical therapist.

Podiatry: A podiatrist provides regular on-site visits.

Social Services: Our Social Services Department assists residents and their families in the adjustments necessary for entering our nursing and retirement home. We provide consideration of living wills, durable power of attorney and emergency issues or resuscitation. Social Services provides an open door to both family and residents to assist with this transition.

Supplies: Families are welcome to supply the resident's favorite toiletries and incontinent products. These items are also available through Resthave and therefore would be included in the monthly statement.

Telephone Service: Sheltered \ Retirement Care residents are required to have a personal telephone. Telephones for nursing residents are optional. Social Services will assist in establishing / transferring your telephone account. Nursing residents who choose not to have a telephone in their room are assisted to use one of the facility's phones.

Television and Cable Services: We request televisions be no larger than 19" with only one to a room. Cable is available at no additional charge.

Transportation Services: Our facility van is available to transport our residents to and from appointments. It is also used by our Activities Department for resident outings.
